重機とは？

 一般的に工事現場・建設工事で活躍する動力機械類を指します。操縦は１名・もしくは2名で行われ、用途は掘削や各種搬入・除雪・運搬・搬出・破壊に使われます。 人力の何倍もの作業スピードで作業をこなすので、全世界で需要があります。

 In general, it refers to power machinery that plays an active role in construction sites and construction work. It is operated by one or two people, and is used for excavation, carrying in, removing snow, transporting, carrying out, and destroying. It is in demand all over the world because it can work at a work speed many times faster than human power.

エンジンについて

 動力はディーゼルが多いので、騒音が悩みの種です。また作業現場は足場が悪いので、駆動輪はタイヤやキャタピラが使われ、傾斜地でも使用することが出来る優れものです。注意：重機機関とは全く異なるものなので、その旨ご注意ください。

 Most of the power is diesel, so noise is a source of trouble. In addition, since the footing is bad at the work site, tires and caterpillars are used for the drive wheels, making it an excellent product that can be used even on slopes. Note: Please be aware that this is completely different from a heavy machinery engine.

動力について

 動力の大半は油圧で作動するので、人間の動きに似た動作を可能としています。

免許について

 各々によって免許の種類は異なりますが、一般道を走行しない場合の免許（免状）なるものが存在します。この免許は俗に「技能講習修了証」と言われ、講習のみ（短期間）で取得することが出来るものもあります。詳しくは本屋などで資格取得の本をご覧ください。

 The type of license differs depending on each, but there is a license (diploma) for not driving on general roads. 重機と建設機械の違い！

 重機とは重建設に用いる大型重機であり、建設機械と同じような意味です。ニュアンスとしましては、巨大で重量がある機械（ショベル・ブルドーザーなど）を重機であり、建設現場で使用する中型重機や小型機械（発電機・コンプレッサーなど）を建設機械と指している傾向がございます。

 Heavy equipment is a large heavy equipment used for heavy construction, and has the same meaning as construction equipment. As a nuance, there is a tendency to refer to heavy machinery as heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, etc.), and construction machinery as medium-sized heavy machinery and small machinery (generators, compressors, etc.) used at construction sites.
